Recruitment week is September 14-19 and the events are:
9/15 Monday: Steaks and Sigs 6pm
9/16 Tuesday: 3 on 3 Basketball 6pm
9/17 Wednesday: Meet at Sigma Chi house by 5pm to leave for Hoosier Park
9/18 Thursday: Alumni Inspiration 6pm
9/19 Friday: Dinner and Pinning Ceremony 7pm "invite only"
Congratulations! You have made the first step in furthering your education by attending Ball State Univeristy. The years spent here will be influential in determining the path you may continue to take through life. One of these important decisions will include joining the right fraternity. Choosing the fraternity, which is best for you, may be a confusing venture at first. We would like to assist you in making that choice, which is ultimately your own.
Seven men who believed in the ideals of friendship, justice, and learning founded the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Miami University, Ohio in 1855. Since then, the Fraternity has grown to over 225 chapters at Universities and Colleges across the United States and Canada.
Over the years many men have passed through our doors and made names for themselves. Some notably John Wayne, David Letterman (Ball state Sig), Brad Pitt, Matt Groening (creator of the Simpsons) just to name a few...
These men, among countless others, believed every man admitted to Sigma Chi should have 7 standards by which they live by...
